SCOTT SMITH
Investment Analyst
Scott joined Coulter & Justus Financial Services in
August 2008 and is responsible for investment research and analysis of
mutual funds and equities that are selected for client portfolios. Scott
is also responsible for guiding the implementation of the firm's
investment philosophy and strategy. Scott's prior experience includes
working as a private investment manager in Jackson, Tennessee, along with
working as an analyst for a private investment fund in Atlanta. In between
his jobs in Atlanta and Jackson, Scott taught English at a private
language school in Brazil for a semester and is fluent in Portuguese.
Scott graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a degree
in Finance in 2001. Scott enjoys reading, spending quality time with his
wife and 3 kids, and playing tennis.
