SCOTT SMITH
Investment Analyst
Scott joined the firm in August 2008 and is responsible for investment research and analysis of mutual funds and equities that are selected for client portfolios. Scott is also responsible for assisting with the implementation of the firm's investment philosophy and strategy, which is built upon the principles of value investing. Scott's prior experience includes working as a private investment manager in Jackson, Tennessee, along with working as an analyst for a hedge fund in Atlanta. Scott's areas of expertise are in investment analysis and valuation. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Finance in 2001.
Scott and his wife, Joelma, have a son and a daughter that keep them very busy. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing tennis.
